Water Breaks 24"x30" Mixed Media and Acrylic Paint on Canvas
24w x 36h x 1.5d inches Acrylic Paint on Canvas. circa 2019 Musings definition is a period of reflection or thought: her musings were interrupted by the sound of his cell phone. I created this painting using brushes and a cork top from whiskey bottles. These tools allowed me to create the circular detailed motions and thick paint. Shaping the images into a floral abstract pattern as my thoughts drifted to and fro during its conception.
30w x 40h x 1.5d inches Acrylic Paint on Canvas. circa 2019 Les Rhumbs is the place where Dior grew up as a boy in Granville, Normandy, not far from Mont St. Michel in France. My husband surprised me with tickets to view the exhibition "Dior From Paris To The World", at the DAM (Denver Art Museum). Le Rhumbs is in the possession of retired doctor, Primitivo and his wife, Isidora in Florida. Les Rhumbs was sold at The Other Art Fair Chicago, May 2019
20w x 30h x 0.5d inches Acrylic Paint on Canvas. circa 2008 I was totally immersed in this painting. There was no hesitation, only a feeling of lightness and release. The circles are created by cardboard from a masking tape role with acrylic paint rolled onto it. I had to move very quickly. There was no starting point except for selecting colors. In the beginning and the end, I used brushes to build the background and to create some depth.
24w x 30h x 1/2d inches Acrylic on Canvas. circa 2008 Drowning Bubbles represents the fact that although, a vacuous liquid due to their nature surrounds the bubbles, will rise to the surface and greet the atmosphere. I wanted to create a movement that has flow and is calm.
